Dwell In You

This powerful message centers on Romans 8:5-14, exploring what it truly means to have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us. We're challenged to examine whether we're living carnally or spiritually—a distinction that literally means the difference between death and life. The carnal mind, focused on worldly things and influenced by our environment, stands in opposition to God. But when we allow the Spirit to dwell in us, we gain access to the same power that raised Christ from the dead. This isn't just theological theory; it's practical reality. We're reminded that having the Spirit isn't enough—the Spirit must have us. We can't straddle the fence, claiming to live for God while walking in the world's ways. The message confronts our tendency to hang our heads in defeat when we serve a God who owns everything, who can move mountains and change impossible situations. If God is for us, who can be against us? The call here is to stop playing church, to move beyond religious performance into genuine Spirit-led living. When we truly grasp that we're sons and daughters of the Most High, that His Spirit lives in us, it transforms how we face every obstacle, every trial, every moment of doubt.
