Dr. Robert Brown is a native of Kinston, North Carolina and was educated in the Lenoir County Public School System. He continued his studies at Trinity Bible College and Jacksonville Bible College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theological Studies and Doctor of Theology.

He is the founder and senior pastor of Temple of Deliverance Worship Center (TOD) in Kinston, NC. with 24 years in ministry. Pastor Brown is committed to seeing lives transformed and individuals empowered by the power of God. It is his desire to continue to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with signs and wonders confirming the preaching of the Word of God. His favorite scripture is Matthew 6:33…” But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Believing in the power of education, ministry, and community service, Pastor Brown is a recipient of several awards and citations, Pastor Brown was the recipient of the Historic District’s Pride of Kinston Award. This award is given to those who contribute to the safety, health, and general well-being in the community, He also received a community partners certificate of recognition for community service presented by Alpha kappa Alpha Sorority. In 2013 he was appointed to serve as a Commissioner on the Kinston Housing Board of Directors, currently serving as chairman, in addition he has served on the Advisory Board of the Greater Kinston Credit Union.  He is also a member of the World Council of Fellowship Churches International.

Pastor Brown and his wife Lorraine who serves faithfully with him to empower, disciple, nurture, welcome, and embrace others in the grace of God are the proud parents of five children, and 9 wonderful grandchildren.

Pastor Lorraine Brown is a native of Kinston, N.C. and serves at the side of her husband, Dr. Robert Brown at Temple of Deliverance Worship Center, a growing, thriving, non-denominational church in Kinston, NC.  God has anointed her to teach and explain the Word with accuracy and precision to bring hope deliverance in the lives of many.

Pastor Lorraine’s commitment to helping others is evident through her lifestyle of service to helping women become the virtuous women God has called them to be while overcoming their issues.  Her transparency and willingness to share her life experiences as a woman has allowed women to see how great our God is, and how He views women as the “apple of His eye’.  Her testimony is her ministry.  She is the founder of Temple of Deliverance’s phenomenal and effective R.E.A.L. (Revelation Empowers Approved Ladies) Women’s Ministry.  She has a heart for restoring family relationships and providing inspiration.

Furthermore, Pastor Lorraine has been blessed with the Gift of Administration and has helped mentor and train church leaders and administrative staffs in North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Georgia and Illinois. She holds a bachelor’s degree in theological studies, and Master and Doctor of Theology degrees.
